Dental skeletal or soft tissues issues

“The only rock I know that stays steady, the only institution I know that works, is the family.” Lee Iacocca

I love dentistry, all aspects of dentistry. My favorite part of dentistry is working on children. Our office treats children from 3 months on. We love to educate new parents on the care of their little ones teeth/mouth. I am a huge advocate of treating skeletal, myofunctional problems in children as soon as we can. Many of the skeletal issues that manifest as a major problem in adults can be readily treated in the young child much easier.

Children who have habits (thumb sucking, binkies, etc.) can cause major deformations to their underlying skeletal structure. We strongly advise parents to have their child evaluated early (3 years old) to allow us to recognize and potentially treat skeletal inbalances. We can also diagnose and treat muscle pulls (tongue tied, high frenums) at a young age to prevent them from causing major complications later on.

Should you have a child that has dental skeletal, or soft tissues issues, please contact our office for a complimentary evaluation.

Sincerely,
Michal W. Dagostino DDS
