“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” Leonardo Da Vinci.

I have been asked how frequently one should replace their toothbrush. The CDC ( Center for Disease Control) and American Dental Association recommends replacing your toothbrush every three to four months, after which time they become frayed and worn and will lose their efficiency of plaque removal.
I strongly recommend replacing your toothbrush after a bout with the flu, cold or covid. I also encourage patients to use a high quality soft bristle brush, and/or soft electric toothbrush head.

Sincerely,
Michael W. Dagostino, DDS.
