Invisible Braces

Dear Patients,

It’s not easy being a sports fan in Cleveland. The disappointing loss to Boston in the playoffs forces us to recite the Cleveland mantra, “maybe next year!” At least the Browns are playing entertaining football!

Technology has had an enormous impact on all our lives. The U.S. is full of forward thinking geniuses that recognize a need and fill it. A young college student disappointed with his crowded teeth designed a process that straightens teeth using nearly invisible trays. The technique is called Invisalign, and although it has only been available for 4 years, to date over 500,000 patients have been successfully treated.

Patients are first screened to determine if Invisalign is a viable treatment option. If the patient is found to be a good candidate, impressions and xrays are taken. At the initial seating appointment the patient is provided with a series of clear plastic aligners. Each is worn approximately 2 weeks, and then the subsequent aligner is worn. This is repeated until the treatment is complete. The patient is seen every 2 months during the active orthodontic treatment phase. Sometimes alterations are made mid-treatment which may require more frequent visits. The aligners are made of a medical grade plastic, which is computer generated and custom fabricated.

In order to generate some interest in this treatment regimen, our office is holding an “Invisalign Screening Day” at my office on Tuesday December 11th from 9-5pm. During this day we will evaluate your potential for Invisalign therapy. Any patient who participates in this screening will receive $1200.00 off the normal fee of $4800-$6200.00. Please call our office for the complimentary evaluation.

*P.S. The new electric toothbrush, Oral B Triumph, is now available at our office at a significant discount, just $99.00 which is a savings of over $50.00. This amazing brush has converted me from a manual to electric toothbrush and its smart technology helps you to clean all surfaces of all the teeth.

Sincerely,

Michael W. Dagostino, DDS
